A little time out.

Have a break, have a kit kat. I love Holidays, it's when you really get to NOT do anything stressful, and forgive yourself for NOT doing your regular duties. Just laugh it out and say : "C'mon, it's A HOLIDAY!"

Well, this is the SECOND time I'm blogging today. I tried to blog this afternoon but the electricity had to go "Poof" and my LOVELY long post was gone. I hadn't blog on Saturday and Sunday, but an awful lot had gone on, so this is a little flashback on the two days:

Saturday
Morning: I don't really remember... But if I'm not wrong, I didn't really do anything on Saturday Morning.
Noon: I had a piano student at 1:15pm.
Afternoon: Went home straight after the piano lesson I gave (About 2:00pm)...
Evening: Had Choir masterclass with Sulaiman. He wasn't such a great guy after all... compared to Peter Broadbent. But he's got a few very interestings points and a funny character indeed. But the thought of having Piano Masterclasses with him at the same night freaked me out, coz I really can't stand the lovely scent he brought along. Perfume. I hate perfumes. Don't come spraying everywhere, or I'll kill you with one stab.
Night: Piano masterclass with Sulaiman, it turned out to be quite fun. Here are some quotes:

1) Sulaiman: "Oh, lovely! I loved that, what did you play?"
Yi Fen: "Er... A wrong note?"
2) Sulaiman (earlier that day): "Shostakovich is a nasty old fellow!"
Sulaiman (later on that day): "Shostakovich is a genius"
Conclusion : "Nasty old fellow + Genius = Shostakovich"

Overall feeling of Saturday: Ups and down. But it was fine.

Sunday
Morning: Woke up REALLY early to head out to Subang for my piano lesson with Mr. Loo, honestly speaking, I didn't practice enough to actually even do "oo-kay" during my lesson. So I'm gonna work extra harder to make it up for the next lesson. I went straight from lesson to choir and reached there about 10:30am. It was supposed to start at 10:00am... but not surprisingly, everyone was still chit-chatting about and not doing warm-ups. Well, wonder what my co-director a.k.a. the president, was doing?

Anyway, we had choir practice. NO FULL ATTENDANCE. How nice. This means MORE WORK to be done DOUBLE. Hohoho. And guess what, at 12:00pm straight, just after a while of practice, Jason had to go off because he had a guitar student. Now, did anyone even bothered to tell me anything? Nevermind. So I concluded an end for the morning session and let everyone go for lunch.

Noon: Choir started, we ran through the WHOLE musical, surprisingly, it was rather smoothe. I can't wait for the concert now... hopefully we can get a full house on that day. Selling tickets is really hard. Which reminds me that I should give myself a clap for selling off two 50 dollar tickets.

Afternoon: Went to get some birthday presents for three of the choir memebers. Got Wa Chaw a really nice blue swing bag, a pikachu (soft toy) for SinYue, and a pair of fluffy cow slippers for Yi Fen before returning home to snooze on my bed.

Evening: The choir people called us (Angie, my sis and me). They woke me up and we headed over to the BBQ party (Birthday bash for the three person). WOW... was there a lot of people or LOADS of people. But it's nice to arrive late. Why? Hehe, you get to eat straight away (Those people BBQed). Uncle (SinYue's dad) was pretty hyper that night, lolz, he gave everyone (including kids) beer and said it was the only drink available that night.

Night: We all RULED SinYue's + the brother's room, playing loud music along with PS and some poker shots. Went home about 10:30pm with Yi Fen and Yi Wen (Their dad fetched). Mom and dad went to work with Uncle Lim... lolz, those guys are sure having fun. So, watched a lil' TV before I sat in front of the pc and chatted with some people : Simon, Pui Mun and Mun Fong. Went to sleep at 2:00am... not too late eh.

TODAY
FINALLY!!!

Morning: Guess what time I woke up? 11:30am. lolz. Good for a start. Had lunch for breakfast and breakfast for lunch.
Noon: Practiced Piano. Learned something new: Beethoven's Sonata. And found out that Beethoven ain't so bad after all, in fact it was pretty nice playing it. Learned the WHOLE Sonata today, pretty proud of that accomplishment. hehehe.
Afternoon: Went out to Simshen, supposedly to get ku-ku's song done, but hey, I forgot to get new empty cassettes. So had to go back home. Went out again around 4:30pm to Fajar, restocked my stationary and got the cassette before I headed out to Simshen once again. I was supposed to replace Carmen's piano classes, hehe, guess what? I taught SinYue's big younger brother and her younger sister, which was kinda fun I guess. Class finished around 6:00pm. Then I finished recording the stuff for ku-ku around 6:30pm. HoHoHo... was about to go home when it had to rain. Hah. Mom then made kinda what I call a request... something that i am in no place to refuse to do -- Be the accompanist for all grade 4 and 5 violin students who were going to take their exams in the coming June, including William Loo (My piano student whom sometimes could be an angel, and sometimes a demon). Sigh. Yea. And I had to sight read immediately on the piano, accompanying two students -- In Nuen (grade 4) and Shao Jin (grade 5). Was at first frustrated coz I might would have to walk home in the rain, but Shao Jin offered the ride. Learned something : Kinda cool to have a elder brother who has licenced. Yea, I KNOW, I'm elidgible to drive... but my mom just WON'T give into the "AFTER-SPM" thing. GAH.

Night: Nothing much, am blogging now. Mom asking me to go to bed already, k. Good night.
