Beijing - Day 06

Opened my eyes to a different view this morning, although I had the same actions ever since my first arrival... pressing the X button on the handphone to off the alarm. People actually started practicing their instruments around this area at this kinda time... but considering the time they go to bed... like maybe 8//9pm? I mean China Chinese... unlike we, (Sg'rians and M'sians)...

It was the normal mornings in Beijing like every other where you wake up to the lovely smell of Milo (that I made myself of course) and two slices of smooth bread with peanut butter and chocolate spread. I think I'm gonna need to go buy some mee. Or I'll be bored... but I need to finish my bread... so. Yea.

The harmonization homework that looked like a thousand of small armies ready to point their fire guns at me last night didn't seem so bad in the morning. Maybe it's because they're still asleep in their tent after the hard attack they put on me last night. Lolx. 果然早上起身精神爽. Those questions that I couldn't even put my mind on it last night came straight down my pencil this morning. Though, I'm sure I have mistakes...

Lunch, I had rice. JunYi (I tried typing initials... but realised that we have the same ones... so better not) asked me whether if I wanna go lunch with him and MingYan... both 19 year olds. (So far I'm the youngest around here. Good lar. Lolx) But I declined his generous offer cuz dun wanna waste money.

After lunch, it's piano practicing time. I practiced an amazing non-stop four hours and was surprised that time actually passed so quickly. Normally I'd stopped for five minutes break between pieces... wonder what got into me today. Maybe it's the fellow next door... he definitely started practice earlier than I but when I got out after 4 hours, he was still playing. No surprise? Well, he was playing the SAME song... Chopin's Etude in F Major, Opus 10 No. 8, the one I was practicing before I came here and I only played my Etude for like an hour? And I got tired and bored...Geng lar the fellow.(Thus proves that I wasn't concentrating. LOLX. No lar, for sure can hear geh.)

Came back to my room and started practicing my conducting... Beethoven Symphony No.1 in C Major, 3rd movement. One word to describe -- Worried. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing... I wish and hope I am... fingers crossed. Jean was outside packing, gosh her stuffs nearly overloaded the corridor... No lar, exagerate. But it was certainly a lot. Did I help? Help watch her pack... yea.

Dinner, I actually ate some left overs, not exactly full... but it's dinner. Then Jean told me as I came out of the bathroom saying that they're gonna go out and have dinner. Hrm... wanna join? Of course. Hehe. Get to know people marr... So we went to this not very near " 新疆唰羊肉餐馆(XinJiang Brush Lamb Restaurant... lolx)" People who went: Me, Jean, MingYan, Cheryl, HuanPin, JunYi & DeXing (who appears to be someone I'm supposed to know back in M'sia, considering that Prof.Yang stayed at his place *raises eyebrow*)

It was FREEZING on the outside when we walked back... stopped by at this "Good Neighbour" (Another China 7-11 shop) as some of them wanted to get some goods. Cheryl actually bought ice cream and ate it on the way back to the hostel. *shudders for her* Lolx. Geng.

I'm not going to bed yet though it's almost 12 liao cuz I have to do some theory questions. Sigh, I really aren't so hardworking, but I don't see that I have a choice not to do it.
